I would like to immigrate to Toronto with a skilled worker visa. I'm from Egypt and I meet the 67 point requirements but I'm still not qualified.
I have an English Literature Bachelor's Degree. I have 10 years experience in teaching Armenian & English. I also worked as a secretary for 2 years and front desk receptionist in a hotel for 1 year. My husband has over 25 years experience as a diamond setter.
Obviously, I would need an offer of arranged employment. Any advice??
Thanks

why you do not qualify is it NOC code or anything. Do you have any first relative in Canada ?
If you are talking about arranged employment so that you can get your fsw sponsored its very tough , you need to be extremely lucky or in a demanding skillset
Hello!
No, I don't have a first relative.
I was informed that in order to qualify you must pass the minimum 67 points which I have, in addition to either having studied, worked there or obtained arranged employment. Isn't that correct?
Yes it is correct. You don't need to be qualify NOC from 29 skilled Occupation list if you have job offer supported with AEO (Arranged Employment Opinion).
So now you only need to find a job offer from Canadian employer.
The AEO must be in a skilled NOC if I am not mistaken.............

nope AEO can be frm any NOC.......dats what I know
@jaggy999, I guess if you are applying with AEO the NOC should be skilled O,A,B........... If not under skilled NOC, then you have to apply as temporary foreign skilled worker..........
Any advice, how to find offer of arranged employment?
