I am an academic- a physicist with years of experience in teaching and research in particle physics and am a UK citizen working at one of the major universities in the UK. Physics is not my only skill, one is forced to use tons of statistics, maths and write a lot of software. I hold a PhD from a US university.
I would like to immigrate to Canada, I was wondering if there is 1) a special category for scientists 2) or any other avenue for someone like myself.
