Immigration Canada say they cant find my file

My husband is a permanent resident of Canada and he mailed spousal sponsorship application to CPC Sydney office in August 2019. Its been six still haven't received the first acknowledgement. We called Immigration Canada and they said they cant seem to find my file. They said they will now take a month to respond on whether they can find my file or not. Me and my husband cant find the tracking id of the courier now but I remember checking my courier online back in August 2019 and it was Delivered! They said that my representative should expect an email before 27th, February 2020 on the update whether they have found my file or not. Its 21st, February today and we still haven't received any update. I have no idea why cant they find yet and how can they lose it.

I would have started preparing another application after 2 months Max. If I were you guys I would start a new one ASAP. You should be able to get courier info if you remember the day you guys sent it, either way that won't help much if . I would also hold on to that information until you actually receive AOR1 this time around. Sorry that your going through this. 6 months is a lot of lost time.

We originally filed in Aug as well. Mid Oct when we asked them they couldn't find ours either, we withdrew the application, even though they never found it and re-applied in Dec. Start getting all your docs together to submit another one.
