Hello, I am a medical student. I was wondering if you have to have a permanent resident status to take the MCCQE1 and the NAC OSCE exam? I read permanent resident status is required for applying for residency, and to apply for residency you have to pass the 2 exams. So do you have to be a permanent resident to take the exams, or you can take the exams and then get permanent residence status before you apply for medical residency in Canada?
