IMM5802E - New Bridging Work Permit Requirement

Hey guys,

I'm trying to apply for a bridging work permit for my BC PNP PR Application. I've got AOR etc.

My employer has sent out this form (IMM5802E) to the CIC, how long do you think he has to wait for a response? Has anyone else sent this form? We're both anxious to get my application for a work permit sent out.

If you are applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit, then your current employment situation is irrelevant.

Are you trying to prove that you have a 'written job offer' for the BOWP application (if so, it is completely unnecessary)?

Thanks for getting back to me. I may have used the wrong terminology.

I think what I was referring to was a bonded/employer specific bridging work permit to tide me over until I get PR. I'm applying online, and this IMM5802 seems to be a new requirement?

hi there every body ive been nominated under ainp employer deriven stream as i am apply for bridgeing my work permit my Q is do my emplyer need to fill the employer compliance fee as i understood from the new not that this apply to EMPLOYER WHO ARE EXEPMET FROM LMAI
