Why not tell the truth? How would it not be considered misrepresentation if you lie about your activities in a background document? Think about it this way, what if this application fails, the NOC list and rules change, the jobs you did in that period are now significant to you, but you never included them at the start. Your call but what is the harm in being honest? To be gainfully employed is surely a stronger position to report than UNemployed.
I also have a question due to "Personal history", reading the instructions it says-tell about your current positions, held positions, periods of unepmloyment,...etc...and vacation. I am a little bit confused about this vacation section. Do I really have to tell about my travels here or on a form that is intended for that, or in both? Seniors who have applied already, what to do?
I m saying from doucmentation point of view. For e.g if have worked for temp job and I don't have much docs for same, I will prefer not to show that where its difficult for me to prove it
Hope u got my point.

I haven't gone through the current application, but I don't think anyone would request references from any employment that is not "counted" for eligibility. If they want to know vacation time then surely they are asking for an account of your days without any gaps. Not including temporary employment sounds like something is being hidden.
I m not saying its vacation and I can write it as "unemployed"
Anyway five fingures r not same
