I'm applying to permanence residency through the spouse sponsorship process and have trouble filling the travel history for the IMM 5562 form.
I lived in France near the Switzerland border and have been working there (Switzerland) one summer, and doing the commute most days.
I also went for some daytrips here and there but have no way to find the exact dates or even the actual number of trips.
Should I upload a document explaining this situation?

Do your best to remember and just include a LOE explaining it. To be fair, I live right near the US/Canada Border and make frequent trips all the time, and I just included a letter stating my situ and got AOR so far.

While it may not be recommended, from the perspective of what IRCC wants and what they can generally get from foreign countries, I think it's not crazy to write an LOE simply stating you do not have records for much Schengen zone travel, especially local cross border.
And yes, we partly did this, simply stating that we do not have any records except entries into the Schengen zone.
