Hi everyone.
I am filling out form Imm5550 and it asks me for the addresses where I have resided in countries other than Canada. I was able to fill in my current and past 3 addresses here in Korea. However, I'm not sure about the following:
1. In 2007 I studied abroad in Korea for 4 months and lived in the university's dormitory. Should i include this? (I do have a record of this address).
2. In 2004 I studied in Japan for 3 months and lived with a Japanese host family. I have fallen out of contact with them and cannot find their address written anywhere. Should I make a note of that or should this not even be included since it was just a temporary stay outside of Canada?

I would include both of these. The visa officer might not think the 3-month stay needed to be included, but including it won't hurt the application. When you don't remember the address or some other detail, just include a separate sheet of paper where you explain this.
I would include residences from before 2013.
Short trips should not be included. I would not include the 40-day trip, as you presumably had another residence at the time. However, I would include longer stays such as 3 to 5 months, not just 6 months and over. Again, the visa officer might think that a stay of 4 months does not have to be listed, but then again he or she might wonder about it. It is better to just include it, since it does not hurt the application.
