IMM5532 Confusing question. Need help please.

This is for PR Common-Law in Canada Class.

In part C question 3, it asks "Are you living together now?" to which we ticked the "yes" box and gave details.

The following question 4 asks "If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship?" (yes and no boxes with explanation if no).

My question is what do we tick here? We are currently living together. (Im in Canada as a visitor while we work on our PR). We have been in a relationship for several years. We moved in together over a year after we began our relationship. We also lived apart for awhile do to circumstances out of our control but remained in a strong relationship. Since we are living together at this moment, do we just skip the question or do we answer it as in "did we visit each other WHEN we were not living together?"

Stop thinking and just answer the question. It's pretty simple.

You said it yourself "We are currently living together", even though you're in Canada as a visitor. Besides, since you are applying with an Inland application, it is a requirement that you be living together in Canada.

Answer yes and move on, so that you can get your application submitted!

I don't think my question is clear. Im not asking about the question if we're living together. Thats clearly "yes". I am asking about the following question:

"If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship?"

If yes, I need to provide visit details, and if I answer no, I need to explain why we didnt visit each other during our relationship. Since I answered yes on the previous question, this question should not apply to me so I'm concerned what to do.

OK...The question is asking you something that pertains to TODAY (or whenever you actually sign/date the form), right?

Since you are living together, by default you cannot also be not living together.

When in doubt attach a separate narrative that outlines/explains everything.

The correct answer is not applicable of course but they don't provide that option. Do what you want and just write short explanation in the box if you're still concerned. They won't send it back because of their poorly phrased question. Personally I'd mark it yes and leave it blank.
