Dear Friends,
In form IMM5490E
For question 17
What should write
When was the marriage arranged - it's arranged on my engagement day
Is that the date or exactly marriage date , do I need to write
Also where was the marriage arranged? My house
Please let me know.
Thanks
It's the date on which you first agreed to marry, not the date of the marriage. Unless of course, it was the same date, in which case "red flag".
The marriage is arranged before the date of the marriage (in almost all cases). Did the two sets of parents discuss the possible marriage on just one day? If so, put that date. If they discussed it over several days, explain that. If it was arranged on one day, and that became your engagement day, fine, just explain that.
If they discussed arranging the marriage in your house, that is the right answer.
