In form IMM5490e Question 24 under "maintaining contact" says "24. Has your sponsor visited you during the period of your relationship?" and 25 says "Have you visited your sponsor during the period of your relationship?"
My confusion is do they mean contact after the marriage or from beginning of the relationship ?
Me and my wife had long distance relationship. We mostly spoke over the phone etc. However, we lived together from the day of our marriage until 5 weeks after then I returned back to Canada.
So what exactly am I answering there? Should I say no, because I got married about 2 months ago and only a month ago I came back. So I cannot really visit that frequent.

whether married or not, it does says relationship, so yes if you have visited her even before marriage or after marriage. When you write a bio-date / summary about your marriage, you do tell how you firs met, how does relationship develop, there they will understand your relationship. But you do provide your documentary proves, like email, chat, Skype, phone, or any other way of communications.
Yeah, from the beginning of the relationship. It's good to show how the relationship developed over time and eventually resulted in marriage versus looking like you just got married with no history together. (My opinion only. I am not an expert.)
