I(to be sponsored) am currently working on my application for spousal sponsorship. I noticed a conflict between the country specific(Philippines) checklist/ Appendix A with the Document checklist (IMM5443).
They have different spousal questionnaires.
My question is, which checklist should i follow for my application? I am currently in the Philippines.
Do i need to include both?
Am i correct when i say that Appendix A is for spouses/partners living in canada and IMM5443 is for those within canada?
Any help is much appreciated.
You need to follow: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp#immigrate and your country-specific guide. If you mix the two, you can expect delays, while CIC either tries to figure out where your application should go, or simply returns it to you as incomplete. I recall one member who mistakenly put in an inland form in his outland application, and it caused several months delay.
