I need help with IMM5406, where we have to write the names in English AND in our native language. My native family name contains a specific letter, therefore I have to write two names for myself, mother etc.
HOW exactly do I write them? Both versions of names one under another in the same box? They can fit, even tho the font is small, but it can still be readable.
Also, I understand that my husband who is sponsoring me doesn't have to complete its own 5406, since he's already in Canada, right? I only mention him in my form.
I searched the forum but I still don't get how I do with that native name, please advice, thanks!
P.S. another question regarding all documents: if not enough space, for example where you describe the development of the relationship, I suppose I simply write in the text box "see Annex 1" and there I fill my ENTIRE answer, right? Or I should write half of my answer in the form box and only the rest in the annex? This second version sounds silly for me, but just asking to be sure.
Yes that is fine to use smaller readable font and you may right name in native language by hand as well.
Yes you may use extra sheets to write complete and correct answer and write reg to that sheet on the form under that specific question.
I will write both names on the computer, the font is recognized when I print the form.
Ok, hopefully it's correct to write both names in the same box. I just heard of people saying we should print two copies, one with English names, second with native, which doesn't makes sense to me, but whatever.
"Also, I understand that my husband who is sponsoring me doesn't have to complete its own 5406, since he's already in Canada, right? I only mention him in my form."
My husband (sponsor being in Canada) says it's no need for me to mention him in my IMM5406 form because of this paragraph in the guide:
1. If you are being sponsored as a member of the family class, your spouse or common-law partner (except where your spouse or common-law partner is the sponsor) must be included in your application as a family member. You must also include all your dependent children from your current and previous relationships, whether they will be going with you to Canada (accompanying family members) or not (non-accompanying family members).

That paragraph refers to including people as as dependents to be sponsored. Your husband doesn't need to be sponsored, so he isn't included as a dependent. It doesn't mean that you don't mention him in the forms.
