My girlfriend would like to meet my family for two weeks during the Christmas Holidays. She is currently a student so she does not have so much money in her bank account. She only has about 500 Euros. I provided a letter of invitation saying that I and my family will provide her all food and lodging during her 2 week stay. I will attach my bank statement showing I have $27,000 CAD. My family will provide proof that we live at our address.
What should she put down in "Funds available for Stay"? Should she put down 500 Euros = $750 CAD? and then provide a Euro bank statement? Is it acceptable that I send her enough money to her bank account?
Yes. Send money to her account, keep track of the deposit (when and how much was given, official statement is preferred). She should attach this to her application, stating the reason for the deposit. The letter of invitation should also acknowledge such movement.
The money should stay in her account at least 3 months. The account should be in her name.

I read on this forum that CIC does not like the transfer of money to an account just for the purpose of application.
If I send her the money today and then she sends her application in November, will that reflect badly on her application?

It is little time, CIC wants to see the funds available for at least 3 months.
Submit it as is and wait for the best.
