Hi - I am applying visitor visa for my parents and I have a question on IMM5257 -Question 8.

Question:
Previous country of residence: During the past five years have you lived in any country other than your country of citizenship or your current country for more than six months.

My parents visited USA two times - each time they stayed for 4 months. So in total, they stayed for more than six months but not continuously. So do I need to mention this stay under Question 8? Please confirm.

Check the guide - sometimes the form expects you to report a trip only if the trip itself was six months or longer.
