I as a sponsor am looking to include my wife as a co signer for my child's sponsorship application. But currently she resides in my home country. And this form has a question that Do you reside in Canada ? And it says if you answer NO to this question you are not eligible to be a cosigner. My wife is complaint as a PR. She lived in Canada for more than 730 days but she had to get our baby delivered in our home country hence she went back temporarily..but I am in Canada looking to apply for my baby's sponsorship visa.

Please help. Should I tick on NO or YES? to the question that she resides in Canada ?

How long has she been back in the home country, that will probably determine whether she currently resides here or not. What is the reason to have her as a co-signer? Is she a citizen or PR?

Don't have her cosign she isn't residing in Canada.

If you are planning on travelling for 4 weeks you need to wait until you return to apply.
