IMM0008: Q 10_Education Calculation_India

Regarding question 10 in IMM0008 in Sch 1 form:

I am trying to calculate years of education for box;

1-Elementary/Primary School
2-Secondary/ High School
3-University/College
4-Trade School or other Post secondary school.

My education in India: 1st to 12th standard--->3 years Bachelors---> 2 years Masters.

How to divide this entire duration as required in Question 10.

Please help.

may be it is like that

1-Elementary/Primary School = 5 years
2-Secondary/ High School = 7 years
3-University/College = 5 years
4-Trade School or other Post secondary school. = 0 years

You mean to say:

Class 1st - Class 6th ---> Elementary/Primary School = 5 years

Class 7th - Class 12th----> Secondary/ High School = 7 years

B.Sc. + M.Sc. ---->University/College= 5 Years

Is that right?

Further question;

when they ask "Give full details of secondary and postsecondary education( including college, university, and apprenticeship training) you have had, should I start giving details from 7th class or 9th class. In Uttar Pradesh, high school is 9th+10th and intermediate is 11th+12th.
