IMM0008 Previous Marriages

Hello Everyone,

This is regarding IMM0008 question 14, 'Have you previously been married or in a common-law relationship?'

If the principal applicant is married twice before would the most recent one be mentioned on the form and older one on a separate sheet or the other way round? Another query is, is it pertinent to mention how the previous marriage ended, eg death, divorce on the separate sheet?

Write as much information as you can, would be my guess. And send along proof of the divorces. They will want that for sure. I sent proof of my divorce. It was stated on my Swedish birth cert. But that wasnt enough....they wanted the court file too. So our application was delayed over 6 months, since we had to order the Swedish court papers and translations of these too. So my advise is, send all the information and all the proofs you have and can get.....so they don't have to request any documents later.
