IMM0008 Dependent type

Hi,

Applied for my parents sponosrship in 2010. Filling out the IMM0008

Can someone please advise what would be the dependent type for my two brothers?

When we submitted our application in 2010, my brothers age was 17 and 21 and now they are 23 and 27. They are still studying and are fully dependent on my father (principal applicant).

Sorry, I don't know much about parental sponsorship, but I did read that if a person is of dependant age at the time of the application, that age "freezes" in time and they remain dependants until the application is processed.

But, if you applied in 2010 why do you have to fill out an IMM0008 now?

Thanks for your response, the reason i am filling out IMM0008 now is because our application was delayed, CIC never sent us the letter last year.....

now the questions is do i evaluate the dependeant type based on my brothers age at the time when i submitted application(in 2010) or based on what their age is now.

So they sent you a letter requesting another IMM0008? Or do you have to redo the whole app.

No After i reached out to CIC that i not have received any response from them since i submitted my application in 2010 then they sent me the the `90-days-letter` which includes imm0008 and i am filling it out for the first time.
