IMM 5562 - Supplementary Information - Your travels

Hello

I am the sponsor and am almost through with the outland spousal app package and have a question in the IMM 5562 - Supplementary Information - Travel form:

I am filling out form IMM 5562 (Supplementary Info- your travels). Under section b) "Your spouse or common-law partner" do I need to fill that out for myself (a Canadian PR)? I am sponsoring my wife. I can't tell if they have that section for those people who are being sponsored along with their common-law or spouse or if CIC does indeed want the sponsor's trips to be documented as well on IMM 5562.

Grateful for any advice or suggestions.

This form is generally for the principal applicant to fill and not for the sponsor in an outland application.
Also, the pa only has to fill their trips info and not section B that is for the spouse/sponsor.

Then why they have a complete section B for spouse travel history?

What is the point of adding a section if its not required?

Because it is generic form that can be used in different kind of applications and not just spousal sponsorship.

Also, if both Sponsor and Principal Applicant's information are required in any form, they would place that form under "BOTH SPONSOR & PRINCIPAL APPLICANT" whereas this form is only under PA required documentation. There is no wrong in putting the sponsor’s info but doesn’t affect if put an N/A.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
