IMM 5490 (questionnaire) question 22/23

Hi there,

I am having some difficulties answering questions 22 and 23 from IMM 5490 and hopefully somebody can help me.
I am applying as common-law with my boyfriend (he is the sponsor) and we did not have any partnership ceremony or a reception yet. We plan a wedding or a ceremony at a later date once we can be together without barriers. But we do not have any specific date yet and this is what question 23 is asking (give date and place). How should I answer these two questions then??

We answered the ceremony and reception with a "no we didn't have any reception or ceremony to celelbrate we were living together.

I think in many parts of the world it would not be very common to celebrate your common law relationship in a ceremony type style.

Yes, itscoezy is right. You could say that there is no ceremony but would hold one when you are ready to marry.
