IMM 1344 - Common-law partner - Question 8a

Hello, I am filling out this form and I need help please:

My sponsor is a Canadian, we are common-law partner but he is NOT divorced yet. So what should the answer be for:

1- Question 8a
- Legally separated; or
- Common-law partner?

--> When I choose "legally separated", question 8c "Provide the name of your current common-law partner" is muted.

--> when I choose "common-law", question 8c is still required an answer. I'm confused. Aren't I the surrent common-law partner?

Please help!
