Hi. There's a question on this form-where do you intend to live in Canada? My concern is this. I already put on the form that me and my husband intend to live in Alberta but in fact we are planning to stay in New Brunswick for a few months at my husband's parents house and then move to Alberta. My husband is going to attach the letter from his parents confirming that they offered us to stay at their house for as long as we wanted and that they would help us financially if we needed help and in the letter- explanation on how he is going to support me my husband also wrote that we are planning to stay at his parents house for a while and then move to Alberta. So is it correct that I put Alberta as a province where we intend to live or should I have put New Brunswick instead as this is a province where we are going to go to first? Does it even matter to them? Maybe I'm overthinking things but just wanted to make sure that I'm filling those forms right and that everything is consistent in the answers...Thanks. Any input would be appreciated!

It does mean where you plan to live right after you land, so if you have not yet submitted your application, I personally would change it to New Brunswick, but if you’ve already submitted it’s probably not a big deal, especially since the letter states you plan to move to Alberta later. It really only is important if you’re planning to live in Quebec since they have additional immigration processes.

Thank you very much for your reply! We haven't submitted our application yet so I'm going to change the province where we intend to live to New Brunswick just to be on the safe side!
