Hi, I have a general query regarding PR application. My dependant recently completed master’s program from a DLI and applied for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Her study permit is valid until 31 September 2025, but I am not sure whether this study permit is valid or not after getting the graduation completion letter and applying for PGWP. After applying for the PGWP, she received a system-generated Letter (WP-EXT letter) on 18 December 2024, which is valid until 16 June 2025.
So, when filling out the IMM 0008 (Generic Application Form), under the dependent section, which status should I select for her from the dropdown options—"Student" or "Worker"? Additionally, for the "From" and "To" dates in the form, should I use the dates from the WP-EXT letter or the validity period of her study permit? Anybody has similar experience or knowledge on that? Thanks.
