Im on student visa (1yr) and wana sponsor my wife and kids, how????

Dear Seniors,
Hope all is good.
My question is i came last august 2010 on a student visa on 1 year post graduate diploma course in computer animation, and my visa is till end july 2011. i wana sponsor my wife and kids to see me on a visit visa? so how should i proceed for this process???? ill be getting my work permit in feb or march start. which will be for 1 year.
please help and guide.

Dear Najam Bro,

I am in the same boat as you but I don't think now is the right time for you to bring your family to Canada. Wait until you get the work permit and then apply for their visas. Get everything ready before hand so that you don't waste precious time in preparing/obtaining docs and everything. Apply only after getting work visa as the chances of refusal are quite high if they file their TRV application while you're still on study permit.
