HI, i'm indonesia citizen and for 16 yrs lived in USA with no status, and we want to move to canada permanent, is express entry is work for me and my family? me and my wife worked as nurse at hospital and we have three kids US citizen, do we need go back to indonesia before enter canada?

Detailed information about Canada's immigration programs can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp Unfortunately there's really no short cut to reading through this information in detail to understand what it takes to immigrate.

To qualify to immigrate, you generally must have at least one year of work experience - and I don't believe they will consider illegal work experience. So I think that's likely the biggest challenge to your plans if your wife is without status in the US as well. If your wife is a US citizen, that will change things.

Having US citizen children gives you no advantage.

thanks scylla, and what is mean have to be 1 year work experience, both of us been worked in US as a nurse more than 5 yrs

Do you have any legal work experience within the last 10 years?

Yes, we working with working permit

But you said you had no status in USA.

When the court process we eligible to have working permit, sorry for confusion

But the work you have already done is illegal work?

One thing I would suggest you do sooner rather than later is start looking into the language exam requirements you need to meet to qualify to immigrate. You will have to take an English language test and achieve a minimum score. Based on your writing here, I think you may struggle to reach the minimum score required - at least in writing.
