Earlier I had applied for a study permit for a Schengen country and I haven't received any decision regarding that visa application yet. To be on safe side I mentioned that in my LOE in PR application for Canada. Now if I receive rejection for that country's visa during my PR process for Canada, do I need to inform IRCC by raising a webform or not?

Currently my application is under background check. I have query which might be the result of my overthinking but would appreciate if someone could provide an answer.
As I mentioned earlier, When I submitted application (AOR), I had a pending visa decision for a Schengen country, though I disclosed this pending visa application in LOE to be on safe side. Could this become a reason for extended bg check? (as ircc might take time for the schengen authority to release my visa result then ircc will take decision on my application) or am I just overthinking?
