hello all,
I woul like to ask if any had the same exprnce of medical issue.
I got my PR card and i am currently outside canada as I had to find a place where to get an immediate intervention as I was diagnosed with breast cancer. If send cic orc OHIP will they help me to shorten the waiting period for health card? I am supposed to settle in ON
Please help and advise

As far as I am aware, there is no shortcut to becoming eligible for OHIP coverage. You will be responsible for your own expense during the first three months after returning to Canada. If you require instant cover, you will have to consider settling in another province.

It's best to settle in a province where healthcare is covered by Day 1.
For example, Alberta.
I suggest you to return to Canada if you need to seek treatment......perhaps settle in Alberta province and get treatment

There will still be a wait period since the OP originally landed in Ontario and is now changing provinces.
