If I get ITA in CEC, but if I am working from home from outside the country due to Pandemic. Will that be an issue?

If I am working from India due to work from home, but submit my application in my CEC ITA. Will that be an issue? Curious since I came know from a friend that if you are not in the country they put your application on hold to give first priority to people who are inside the country.
