IETLS Band

Hi all,

I applied under federal investor programm in 2008. now immigration officer requested update document , and in document they also ask for IETLS score , But he didn't mention about required band .
Recently i did IETLS and i got 4.5 Band.
What you think this band is enough for federal investor programm ,cu he didn't ask for band.

Please help me i am very upset. Thanks

4.5 seems a bit low...

4.5 is extremely low. I would definitely take the test again.

i believe you have to score atleast a "6" on all four categories to qualify.

This rule is for FSW.

I don't know if there is a minimum for the investor category. But with a score as low as 4.5, I think the visa officer will question if the applicant has the language skills required to be successful in Canada.

Yea, I wasn't sure if there was a minimum score for this category. I said "6" because it's the standard minimum score for a couple of the immigration programs offered by CIC (FSW, CEC).

Min of "6" at each category is required. so the answer to your question is NO

I think you should have atleast 6 ,

True 6 is what they are asking for
untill you get atleast 6 in all parts you need to give exams again
