A friend of mine has been caught cheering on the IELTS. What consequences is he going to face?

What was the methodology of cheating!?

As copying from another candidates repeatedly(despite the warnings from invigilators) can lead to you being ousted from the exam!
And you may appear next time normally

You if the methodology of cheating was advance like using an earphone, digital device for getting answers from an 'external source' the punishment may become severe! And you may get barred from attempting again for a significant time!
