as far as I know, the first one is the date of exam taken, while the second is the date of the test report issued.
IELTS is valid for 2 years starting from the date1 (test date)
and while we are on the topic of IELTS report date, I got 2 reports for the same exam.
The first one got lost on the way and i ordered the second one. And as it often happens, later the first one finally did make it to me.
So, now I have two reports with the same date of exam (of course), but different dates of the Report itself. In the EE I typed the first report date.
But later i came to an idea that by issuing the second report, IELTS center could have cancelled the validity of the first...
I know the chances are slim, but has anybody been in the same situation?

I think you should update the 2nd report number in your EE profile by contacting them ASAP. In my opinion IELTS already have cancelled the 1st report as you reported it as lost which makes the 1st report as invalid. only 2nd report number is valid and should be used.
