I want to ask that I am already working as a Computer teacher in India & want to do the same in canada.. Which type of ielts exam I should go for... academic or General?

You need general to immigrate to Canada.

General for PR.
Academic for student visa
 
You’d need to be licensed a Canadian teacher in a specific province to work as a teacher. If you qualify would suggest you look for IT jobs not teaching jobs.
