IELTS test result withheld...!!

Hi,
I have given my ielts on 20th feb'16. and the results should have been out on 4th march.

But when I enquired the british council customer care, they have said that my results have been withheld for monitoring and analysing purpose. they are mentioning that the results would released within 8 weeks.

Can someone tell me why this has happened? Am i the only one or was there any other person who faced such issue before? if so what was the final results.
I am worried about it and was desperate for my results as i need it to update in my EE profile..

This is normal. It happens from time to time. All you can do is wait.

Hello all, results of my husbend from March 5 also withheld. What can be the reason of invistigation? Any ideas?

My IELTS result that was to be declared on 25th March is also withheld and I am asked to wait for an update till 11th April.

again I got sms from BC stating that they will update me on 11th of April.... i gave test on 20th Feb...

I'm in the same boat too. they say it can take upto 2-2.5 months.

Some chinese candidates got withheld permanently :-\ last year. I hope it doesn't happen to us.

I had the same email of investigation concerning the test taken in the 5th of March 2016! :'(

Did any one receive an email after sending the statement and the supporting documents???
