I was wondering if I sit for Ielts exam on 4th of march would it be too late? as the last cut off was 459 and the predictions says it will go even more lower. My Ielts score currently is R-8.5,L-8.5,S-7,W-6.5 and to reach up to 450 crs I would I have to increase my writing score.
Will the crs scores keep going low, until march/April ?
If you get CLB 9 equivalent scores, then your CRS will shot up by atleast 50 to 58 points from your existing points. Kindly retake IELTS and score the required 7 in Writing, keeping the others scores almost equal. All the best.
Getting a minimum CLB 9 equivalent scores for IELTS is highly recommended during anytime of the application process - be it before or after ITA.
It will always boost your confidence level.

Hi thanks for reverting, ya I am hoping too to get CLB 9 this time. But what I am worried about is, will march be too late? What if after my Ielts required results CRS cut off goes up? Wont be having any chance then, since I had already left all hopes last year and now after watching these points going low, thought I would try again.

Look, there is no such a thing as "Trend" in the IRCC rounds of invitation. All we need to do is give our best IELTS scores, try to score max. CRS points. Once you do that, you wait and things will fall in place eventually.
Canada immigration is a 2 year project. If you can score high CRS points enough to fetch you ITA directly, then you can complete the whole process in just 1 year.
In 2015, any score above 450 was good enough to receive direct ITA. Whereas in 2016, only a score above 470 proved to be good enough to receive ITA. We don't know what 2017 has in store.
If you can score 500 after retaking IELTS then obviously you will get ITA very soon.
