IELTS Score Validity

Fellow FSW aspirants & seniors,

Can you let me know how long the IELTS score is valid. I took my exam on 17th Aug 2013 & due to financial reasons I was not able to apply thru FSW in 2013.
Per some forums, IELTS score should be less than 1 old at the time of submitting the application - is that true? If so, do you advice me to retake my IELTS?

IELTS expiry is after two year. read your TRF it has expiry date mentioned.
