IELTS score/ Points earned

Hello All,

I got a score of 8.5 in IELTS abd I would like to know if I can earn more than 20 points for FSW category. As I am getting 20 points for a band of 8 in IELTS, my total score is 66; I would like to see if there are any chances that I can still qualify due to 8.5 band?

I greatly appreciate any help on this matter!!

Impossible to say with the information you have provided. You must tell us what you scored in each of the four IELTS categories. Your overall score isn't enough.

Thanks for responding but I do not see in the links which you provided how many points I can get wth 8.5 band?

I see 20 points for 8 band and 24 points for 9 band.

I was actually looking at CELPIP points table instead of IELTS...

So fnally I am at 70 points and can go ahead with the process...before Jan 2015...
