Need some inputs. My IELTS score expires on 14th March 2021. But, I am about to complete my 1 year of CEC soon, post which I should get an ITA easily as my overall score will shoot to 479. Considering that the IELTS score will expire soon, what should I do? Should I accept the ITA if it comes before my IELTS score expires? Or should I decline it, give my IELTS again and then apply? You inputs are much appreciated.
Thanks.
If you can submit your application before IELTS expiry, go ahead and submit. If not, you need to take IELTS again and update your PR profile with the new IELTS report and score.
I was in the same situation as you but since I had created my profile, I received the ITA. My IELTS expires tomorrow and my 1 year will complete in Feb end. I wrote IELTS again yesterday since it has to be valid when you submit application (AOR)

So you mean that let us say I receive my ITA. I can accept it and appear for a fresh IELTS and submit AOR with the new IELTS score? Or should I reject the ITA, appear for the new IELTS and then accept the ITA whenever I receive it next?

I am 100% sure I will not be able to submit my application before my score expires. My query is that is it fine for me to accept the ITA when it comes, and then appear for a fresh IELTS and submit the documents with the new score? Or can I not accept the ITA at all if my old IELTS is about to expire?

I’m not 100% sure, check the language section of your PR application and see if you can still edit the TRF # and results. If yes, it means you can still update the language exam results within the allotted 90 days.
It’s been a year since I applied, so not sure if I can recall correctly if you can still edit the language results.
