Ielts registration doubt

Hi,

Iam completly new to IELTS. Please forgive if my doubt is a sillly one.
Am planning to give Ielts academic for pursing masters from University's.
When we are applying for IELTS, if it is asking sending results to institutions /organisations, Do we need to give institutions/university code? Am giving ielts now and somehow applying for course from October.

Some of the universities will require the results to be sent to them directly. Please check your university you are interested in.

While filling ielts registration can we apply for personal reasons if they ask why you are giving ielts exam and still can used that result for immigration?

Don't think the reason matters at all although if you are hoping to send it directly to colleges for academic purpose, you might want to mention that.
