I am confused about my low express entry score which turn out to be 405.
I have a Masters Degree and over 5 years of IT work experience in the US. My overall IELTS score is 8.0 with
Reading - 6.5
Listening - 8.5
Writing - 8.5
Speaking - 8.5
Do you guys think the reading score is causing an issue here? (from what I understand language has a maximum of 24 points), I am disappointed and dejected about this now.
Please offer your insight into my low score if possible.
Yes...The reading is your downfall here.. you should have at least 8,7,7,7 to have a clb9...which will shoot your score up to about 462..
in sam soup...415 with 8.5,6.5,7.5,7.5...i need to re-sit for the exam again...
Give it another try.
Just an update that I got my new score in September - R8.5/L9.0/W.7.5/S8.0 and this bumped my score to 465.
Cambridge IELTS 11 and 12. Take all the practice tests about 10 of them and validate your answers after each test. Give yourself honest feedback you will definitely improve. Just realize that you have infinite potential and approach this setback with an open mind.
I got an ITA and I running around to gather my documentation.
