Ielts question, reply needed asap

hope you all are fine. Kindly let me know that if I apply for mpnp family stream, will mpnp accept my Academic ielts ? I scored overall 6.5 bands but i've heard that for Canadian citizenship, applicant must submit General training ielts, not the academic one which is used for study purpose.

If IELTS results must be included with your PR application, then only General IETLS is accepted. Academic IELTS is not accepted.

I asked from some members here and they said that few applicants submitted their case with "Academic" ielts and they got LOA. So it means they accepted their Academic ielts.

I would ask MPNP officers first.
My personal opinion - Academic IELTS will be accepted without any additional questions. It's well-known fact that Academic IELTS is "improved and complicated" version of General version.
