IELTS overall 6 ,writting 5.5 NOC A

Hello everynone!

My concern is if I am eligible to continue the express entry process.my NOC is at A group. I got overall band 6 on IELTS test speaking 6.5
Reading 6
Listening 6
Writting 5.5
Please could you tell me if I should retake IELTS test (general training) ?

Have you tried inputting your information in the CRS tool to see what your score comes out to be?

You should calculate your CRS using this tool : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp. As per current trends, you would need around ~450 points to become eligible for an ITA, in this year.

Band 6 IELTS is a very low score, and you won't be able to get more than 400 with Band 6 ielts score. You have two options:
1. Focus on IELTS and try to get a CLB 9, which is 8 in listening and 7 in rest.
2. Apply for a PNP. PNP = Provincial Nomination Program.

Thank you for your response, but I think that I have good points at Education (Master degree at Finance, and a diploma in Management) and Working skills 4 years full-time as Financial Analyst and 1.5 year as Teller/Customer Servise in a International Bank, also my age has good points. I am right?

Try calculating your CRS first, using this link : http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

You won't be able to get more than 310 CRS with your current IELTS score. And 310 is very very less, even if you are considering PNP's.

You should retake the IELTS test and aim for a minimum CLB 9.

I appreciate your information, of course I will prepare to relate IELTS, test. Let's hope to achieve a CLB 9 .
