Pros of IELTS
IELTS is conducted worldwide, CELPIP is conducted only in Canada and USA
You will find way more resources online for preparing for IELTS

Cons of IELTS
IELTS is notorious for keeping people on 6.5 so that they have to re-apply. Not sure if CELPIP does anything like this,

Is there any difference in pattern on exams for IELTS or CELPIP.?

I guess the diffrence is in the speaking part and i would suggest to sit for both of them at the same time !
