Hello guys!!! What I understand that, it is better to have ielts before the submission of application so that you know your points in advance. But is it necessary or you can attempt the exam after submission of application.
I think its better to have it before submitting your application, as application process is speedy and you may not have enough time later on for required results. However it can bo attemted later on if you are confident enough that you will achieve required result in your 1st attempt + it's good to have information about availability of seats for IELTS Exam date. So you can plan accordingly
No! It is not necessary. You may get the IELTS results withing the 120 days given to you after you are recommended to a visa office. However, if you have your test results ready now, it will help calculating your points more accurately.
thanks guys!!!!! its very clear now
I am stuck now , i thought I can sit within 120 days, the center was over booked (although I did apply before I receive the AOR), don't repeat my mistake!
best wishes
Canadastan
