My 6th sept. exam IELTS (G) result has been delayed by the IDP.
I received a mail from IDP stating that "you have been randomly selected under our general quality assessment purpose, so your result will get further analysed and will come out on 3rd of Oct.".
At customer care number they said it is a normal practice whereby some students answer sheets are randomly selected to cross-check the quality of the assessment process in india.

I also had the same issue. A phone sms was sent to me about my result being quality checked and result will be out on October 3rd.
Unfortunately, i cannot even reach their customer care number and i have to wait for an email response within 72 hours.
The funny thing is though my result is available online and i exceeded the minimum 6.0 in all bands.
I am not sure why i had to get my result posted online even though they want to do some reassessment.
Is your result also available online?
There are different combinations by which you can get 23 points.
In the above case you mentioned , if you get band 7 in R / W / S that would give you 18 points , so you would need 5 more points . Thus in L if you get 7.5 that will also do ;D
