i heard cost reduction,thought to write discounts as reduction was not fitting in.but rejected the idea because of not hearing the word discount anywhere.

I had the same concern when writing "discount", it's just that I could write only one word and if to put "reduction" the phrase will be "no group reduction" and it loses the meaning.
For the human factor - I am 99% sure, sorry about that. :/
