IELTS general or Academic for SDS study permit in Canada

Hi Everyone, I have received LOA for Fall 2020 from DLI and I am applying for Study permit through SDS process. I have all the required documents as mentioned on the ircc site. However I have one doubt. The site mentions a English requirement with IELTS (6 or higher in each) but does not mention academic or general. I have IELTS general (8, 8.5,8,7.5) . I also have TOEFL (100)score.

Please let me know if IELTS general score is applicable for meeting SDS eligibility or not? If not then is IELTS general or TOEFL score eligible to apply for non SDS study permit?

I used to email the Canada embassy in my country to ask the same question and they answered Academic.

Thanks Khoicoma for your reply, I have read some cases here in which they got their SDS processed on IELTS general. Do not know if its true.
