Hi Senior Members,

I request for your suggestion.

I'm planning to apply for PR in CEC category for NOC 0213.
My overall IELTS Score is: 6.5
with result for each ability of IELTS:
Listening - 6.0
Reading - 7.0
Writing - 6.0
Speaking - 6.5

Is it sufficient or shall I appear for test again? Please advise. Thanks.

i think is acceptable, but you should aim for 6.0 or higher. your language qualification will depend on your job classification.

Thanks for the reply, what if your ielts band score is 4 or 5 in general training for manitolba provincial nominee?
Do you think they will accept that band score? i am planning to passed my 3rd application manitolba provincial nominee.
im just waiting for the result of my ielts. i am a little bit worried. i am hoping that it wouldn't affect my application. i only lack 4 points to complete the 55 points. i also make sure that i stayed in my previous company for almost 1 year and 6 months.

Hi Guys,

I already submitted my IELTS results last 2009 when I applied for an immigrant visa under the AINP-Family Stream in 2008. Do I need to get another IELTS exam for my permanent resident visa application now that i finally got my approved nomination? Or will my 2009 IELTS suffice?
