Hi,

When I created my EE profile in January this year, I submitted my IELTS score which was valid until 8th Sep. 2020 (per date of exam). I couldn't retake the exam due to the covid-19 situation, and now my IELTS has ALREADY expired just a couple of days ago. I haven't received any ITA on this profile since I created it.

My question is shall I now WITHDRAW my profile, OR will it automatically be FOUND INELIGIBLE? What is the proper/recommended thing to do here? Will one or the other of these two actions have any negative impact on my future applications?

(I understand that in either case, I will have to create and submit a new EE profile when I have new IELTS scores.)

Best regards,

BM

Just remove IELTS score and once you get a score.. Update

You need valid IELTS scores to be eligible.

Hi,
Thanks, yes I'm aware of that.

I SUBMITTED my EE profile with a then valid IELTS score, which has just recently expired. My EE profile is still show as submitted with a score that has just expired per exam date. What should I do: 1) withdraw the submitted EE profile myself? or 2) let the profile automatically become ineligible in a few days?

You mean go through the update process to remove the IELTS score? But my EE profile is already "submitted" with a score that was valid when I submitted the profile. I can only update IELTS score (and resbumit the changes) but I don't think the IELTS score can be removed altogether.

IELTS cannot be left blank, system will not let you submit the application. let the profile become ineligible on its own. you can then create a new one when you have the new scores.
