Hi All,

Need one clarification. I am applying for Canadian PR and have given the general IELTS exam. I have scored an average of 8. My Test Report Form (TRF) states that my CEFR level is C1. However I cannot find CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) level mentioned anywhere in the TRF.

Please let me know how can i find my CLB? Is it normal to not have the CLB mentioned on the TRF?

Thanks

Anything 6 and above is CLB 7+

What's your score in each section?

Of course CLB isn't mentioned on your TRF. It's an International English exam; why would they put the Canadian language benchmark on it.

And just in case you're not aware of this, your average score on the test does not matter; each section of the test is assigned points separately.

Are you sure ?
I think it's CLB 10 in all areas except reading, which is CLB 9.
